Mission Statement

We are a group of Christians from various Churches in the Suffolk. We have a heart to bring the message of God's love to those who as yet do not seek him by entering a Church building.

The Street Jesus stall appears in public places such as car boot sales, street fairs, markets and other local events in order to engage with people sensitively where they are.

By being in the 'market place' and speaking of Jesus to any who approach us with curiosity, we believe we reflect Jesus' natural interaction with people.

At the same time we sell craft items on the stall to raise money for a ministry operated by a local couple who heard Gods call to serve in Kenya. The project provides a refuge for young teenage girls, who through abuse have been made pregnant and need a home for themselves and their babies. They are thus assisted to continue in education or vocational training

We aim to be a resource and a point of information for both Christians and Non Christians through selected printed tracts, the internet, direct personal contact, and website material for those interested in investigating who Jesus is.

If people express concerns we provide a listening ear, prayer and support, we invite them to write a note so that we can continue to pray about the situation for them.

We invite other Christians to become involved in the Street Jesus ministry if they feel this is their calling.

We are a non-denominational group and wish to work across and have strong links and partnerships with local Churches and Christian organisations, by working in co-operation to support them.

Our work is supported and guided by a prayer support team.

Our work has a scriptural base, on the great commission in Matthew 28:18-20 to go out: and our approach is reflected in 1 Peter 3:15-16 to show respect to all.

Street Jesus seeks to engage with and support fellow Christians in local churches both directly and through electronic media to encourage outreach and Christian work of love in action.

Jesus came and told hid disciples"I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore go out and make disciples of all nations , baptizing them in the name of the father son and holy spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands i have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always even to the end of the age".

Matthew 28:18-20

And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way.

1 Peter 3:15-16
