Forgiveness

Do not judge others and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others or it will all come back against you. Forgive others and you will be forgiven. Luke 6:37.

If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:14-15.

If we claim we have no sin we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 1 John 1 8-9.

But there is a great difference between Adams sin and Gods gracious gift for the sin of this one man Adam brought death to many. But even greater is Gods wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man Jesus Christ. Romans 5:15.

Jesus said "Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing" And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice. Luke 23:34.

Oh what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven whose sins are put out of sight. Romans 4:7.

But you are a God of forgiveness, gracious and merciful, slow to become angry and rich in unfailing love.               Nehemiah 9:17.

Yes this anguish was good for me, for you have rescued me from death and forgiven all my sins. Isaiah 38:17.

Brothers listen. We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Acts 13:38.

You can be sure that whoever brings the sinner back will save that person from death and bring about the forgiveness of many sins. James 5:20.

There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent. You are witnesses to all these things. Luke 24:47.

Before your father died he instructed us to say "Please forgive your brothers for the great wrong they did to you for their sin in treating you so cruelly, so we the servants of the God of your father beg you to forgive our sin.                      Genesis 50:16-17.

Help us O God of our salvation. Help us for the glory of your name. Save us and forgive our sins for the honour of your name. Psalms 79:9.

Lord you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. Psalms 86:5.

Even if a person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness you must forgive.       Luke 17:4.

Bring your confessions and return to the lord, say to him forgive all our sins and graciously receive us so that we may offer you our praises. Hosea 14:2.

And forgive us our sins as we have forgiven all those who have sinned against us. Matthew 6:12.

For this is my blood which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many. Matthew 26:28.

O Lord hear. O Lord forgive. O Lord listen and act. For your own sake do not delay, O my God for your people and your city bear your name. Daniel 9:19.  

But when you are praying first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against. So that your father in heaven will forgive your sins too. Mark 11:25.

In fact according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22.

Is it easier to say "your sins are forgiven" or "stand up and walk". So I will prove to you that the son of man has the authority on earth to forgive sins. Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said "Stand up, pick up your mat and go home" Matthew 9:5-6
