Grace

God saved you by his Grace when you believed and you can’t take credit for this: it is a gift from God.            Ephesians 2:8.

Rather you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18.

But he gives us even more grace to stand against such evil desires. And the scriptures say "God opposes the proud but favours the humble" James 4:6.

So do not be attracted by strange new ideas. Your strength comes from God’s grace and not rules about food, which don’t help those who follow them. Hebrews 13:9.

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:16.

Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life. Titus 3:7.

For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time, to show us his grace through Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 1:9.

Now may our lord Jesus Christ himself and God our father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope. 2 Thessalonians 2:16.

So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:7.

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us along with all wisdom and understanding.  Ephesians 1:7-8.

For if you are trying to make yourself right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ. You have fallen away from grace. Galatians 5:4.

I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. Galatians 2:21.

But before I was born God chose me and called me by his marvelous Grace. Galatians 1:15.

And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God has given you. Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words. 2 Corinthians 9:14.

All of this is for your benefit and as God’s grace reaches more and more people there will be great thanksgiving and God will receive more and more glory. 2 Corinthians 4:15.

Because of God’s grace to me I have laid the foundation like an expert builder. Now others are building on it. But whoever is building on this foundation must be very careful. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have in Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:10.

Well then should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten for when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism we joined him in his death. Romans 6:1-3.

But there is a great difference between Adams sin and Gods gracious gift. For the sin of this one man Adam brought death to many but even greater is Gods wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man-Jesus Christ. Romans 5:15.

And now I entrust you to God and the message of his Grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those he has set apart for himself. Acts 20:32
